Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying market opportunities, generating leads, and fostering relationships with potential clients. You will be responsible for conducting market research, identifying gaps in the market that Zigment's products and services can address, and developing strategic outreach initiatives.

This is a WFO Role in HSR, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
    • Analyze market gaps and align Zigment's offerings to address these opportunities.
    • Develop strategies to position Zigment as a leader in AI-driven sales engagement.
  • Lead Generation & Database Management:

    • Build and maintain a comprehensive lead database, ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and segmented for targeted outreach.
    • Design and implement automated lead generation processes, including email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other digital marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead nurturing and conversion strategies.
  • Prospect Engagement:

    • Engage with potential prospects through various channels (email, LinkedIn, etc.) to initiate conversations and build relationships.
    • Conduct product demos and sales calls to demonstrate the value of Zigment's platform.
    • Qualify leads and move them through the sales pipeline, ensuring a seamless transition to the sales team.
  • Strategic Outreach & Partnerships:

    • Develop and execute outreach strategies to connect with key decision-makers and influencers in target industries.
    • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships that can enhance Zigment's market presence and drive growth.
  • Reporting & Metrics:

    • Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and sales pipeline progress.
    • Provide regular updates to the management team on market trends, lead generation activities, and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the SaaS or tech industry.
  • Proven track record of success in lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of sales engagement tools, automation platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong command over written English is a must.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven technologies is a plus.
